About me
Amanda Pang (彭敏怡) brings versatility, virtuosity, and thoughtfulness to her music and is sought after as a concert pianist, collaborative pianist, and music educator.

Amanda completed her Bachelor of Music with first-class honours (2018) at the University of Queensland as a student of the late Dr Max Olding. She was also awarded the Music Honours Prize and a University Medal for outstanding achievement upon graduating.
In 2021, Amanda completed her training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) with Timothy Young and was given the prize for ‘Most Outstanding Program’ for her final recital.

Based in Melbourne, Amanda is a passionate and engaging soloist and chamber musician and has performed at a variety of venues like the Melbourne Recital Centre, South Melbourne Town Hall, Castlemaine State Festival, Beleura House and Garden, Abbotsford Convent, and the 3MBS Fine Music Radio station.
As a collaborative pianist, she has worked with world-renowned musicians such as Sara Macliver, Cathy-Di Zhang, Lisa Moore, Michael Kieran-Harvey, the LA Philharmonic Wind Quintet, and WASO.
Internationally, she has toured across Europe and China with the Tagiev Youth Chamber Orchestra.

Deeply devoted to giving her students the tools to be creative music makers and resourceful learners, Amanda is highly in demand as a music educator. She has a thriving private teaching studio in Box Hill and is also a collaborative pianist and piano teacher at the Camberwell Grammar School.

Butterfly Garden: A Recital for Two Flutes and Piano
As part of an east coast tour to Brisbane and Melbourne, Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) alumnae Lilly Yang (Flute), Rachel Lau (Flute), and Amanda Pang (Piano) come together as The Beyond Time Trio to present a beautiful program of wonderful compositions for two flutes and piano across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne.
